Tommy Rando is an Australian singer-songwriter whose influences stem from the roots of Soul, Jazz and Blues. His unique voice and impressive guitar skills have seen him work alongside some of his hometown's best talents as well as some of the finest international acts.

Tommy’s early education was shaped by a scholarship grant to study at the National Guitar Summer Workshop in New York, USA, where he studied with jazz virtuosos such as John Scofield, Lenny Stern, and Adam Levy.

Tommy has achieved global recognition, touring the USA and UK with his debut album, Winter Sky, followed by his hit release, Signature. He was spotted at the South by Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas, which led to a UK tour where he met his future mentor, John Reid (manager of Elton John and Queen). Reid remarked:

Tommy has supported international acts like Paolo Nutini, St. Vincent, and Michael Franti (Spearhead), among others. Back home, Tommy is regarded as one of Australia’s foremost songwriters, having co-written an ARIA number-one hit in 2004 for Lee Harding and has written and produced for many independent artists in Australia, USA and Europe.

Tommy will debut his highly anticipated third album, Coming Up, set for release in September 2024. The album showcases a blend of soulful nuances with the maturity of a seasoned songwriter.
